iPhoto – Manage and Organize Your iPhone Photos

What is iPhoto?

As we know, iPhoto is a digital photograph manipulation software application developed by Apple Inc. and released with every Macintosh personal computer as part of the iLife suite of digital media management applications. First released in 2002, iPhoto can import, organize, edit, print and share digital photos.

iPhoto is often compared to Googles Picasa, CyberLinks MediaShow, Adobes Photoshop Album, Phase Ones Media Pro and Microsofts Windows Photo Gallery. In simple words, you can use it to manage your iPhone photos well.

iPhoto for iOS was made available that day on the App Store for $4.99 alongside the already-released iMovie and GarageBand for iOS. It is officially supported on the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod Touch (4th and 5th generations), iPad 2, and iPad (3rd generation), but hackers have discovered that it can be installed manually on older devices using Apples iPhone Configuration Utility application.

What iPhoto Can Do for Us?

â… . Organize photo by who, where and when

iPhoto gives you three incredibly easy ways to organize and manage the numerous photos on your Mac â€" Faces, Places, Events.

1.Faces to see

The Faces feature helps you sort your photo library by the people in your pictures. It automatically detects and even recognizes faces in your photos. iPhoto uses face detection to identify faces of people in your photos and face recognition to match faces that look like the same person.

2.Places to go

Never again stare blankly at your photos pondering, “Now where was this taken?” Places in iPhoto allows you to search and sort photos by location, using data from any GPS-enabled camer a or iPhone. Don’t have a GPS-enabled camera or iPhone? You can still use Places by adding your own location information: Just start typing and iPhoto instantly gives you a list of locations to choose from. iPhoto also uses reverse geocoding to convert a photo’s location data, such as its latitude and longitude coordinates, to friendly place names.

3.Events to remember

iPhoto automatically organizes your photos by Event, so you don’t confuse that shot of your best friend celebrating her birthday with the one of her celebrating New Year’s. When you connect your camera or insert your SD card, iPhoto groups your images according to the day they were taken. If you like, you can turn multiple Events into one large Event. Just drag one Event onto another to merge them. And you can label each Event with a meaningful name, like “Mike’s solo” or “Lily’s graduation”, so it’s easy to find everything.

â…¡. Turn so-so snapshots into gre at photos

This can get rid of the red-eye, crop, retouch, and so on. iPhoto gives you everything you need to fix your photos such as adjust exposure, brightness, and contrast.

â…¢. Share what you shoot

You shoot a fantastic photo, and want to share with your friends? This is so easy, iPhoto allows you to share your photos to Facebook, Flickr, email and son on with one click.

â…£. Make slideshows that amaze and entertain

iPhoto slideshows are so cinematic, they’ll take you back to the very moment each photo was snapped. Choose from a dozen animated themes that each do something spectacular. iPhoto slideshow themes include professionally designed layouts, titles, and transitions that make a perfect backdrop for your photos.

â…¤. Create photo books, letterpress cards, and calendars

This allows you to easily make something beautiful from your favorite shots. With these stuffs, you can create gifts so unique, you will find it hard to part with them.

Now we can see, iPhoto has a powerful function of managing your iPhone photos, nearly what you want to deal with your images, iPhoto can lend you the hand.
