iPhone system taking too much space on iOS 11 know why!

Many iPhone users are finding that after upgrading their iPhone to iOS and checking memory usage in iPhone shows system is taking most of the memory available of iPhone. And it seems that iPhone system memory is growing too fast unnecessarily. Almost all iPhone models like iPhne 6s/7plus are reported with this issue. Even the issue is reported with latest iPhone X and iPhone 8 where user upgraded from iPhone 7 and found issue with iPhone X that system is taking too high system space like 23GB out of 64GB.

The system storage seems to be taken very high in iOS 11 like for some users it shows it as 13GB of space is taken by system storage out of total 32 GB or 64g phone is showing system is taking 42g of storage.  This does not seem to be normal use of memory by iPhone system. Not only iPhone but iPad Air 2 is also affected by this iPhone system high usage issue. The system file setting keeps on growing for multiple reasons like taking photos, running social networking apps like facebook, whatsapp, weather apps and location services.
Until Apple release a permanent fix for the issue please check if below solutions/workarounds fix the iphone growing system space issue:

Fix 1: Reset all setting and reload the backup

You should try to set the iPhone back to a new phone then restore from backup. Go to settings / general / Reset / Erase all Content and Settings.  Restore from backup - so make sure you have a backup before doing the above.  Or you may take a backup in iCloud as  well. After doing this system usage should come down to normal.

Fix 2: Keep closing background app
Keep closing all the apps and background refresh: It is recommended to close all apps frequently and don’t let them run in background. Turn off background refresh off for apps in settings. This may help you to get a stable system usage.

Fix 3: Update to latest iOS release

As this is cleary a bug from Apple iOS 11, it is recommended to upgrade to latest iOS version to get permanent fix from Apple.

How Can I Test on the Powertrain Control Module

Powertrain control modules (PCM) are used in vehicles compliant with the second generation of On-Board Diagnostics. This means the vehicle has to have been manufactured after 1996, and any troubleshooting must be done with a diagnostic hardware. The PCM is your vehicles central computer, and it is part of the the OBD-II system. The module runs a series of tests, and once it finds a malfunction, it activates your service engine soon light. If the PCM has failed to work properly, it will need to be replaced or reprogrammed.

Bookmark the pages in you OBD-II scanners handbook the pages containing definitions for generic OBD-II codes.

Look up online your vehicle manufacturers codes and print them out. You can also find these codes in a Haynes Repair Manual for your make and model-year. Your vehicles manual, however, will not provide your manufacturers supplemental OBD-II codes.

Open the passengers side front door to your vehicle, and place both the scanners manual and your printed out materials. These are research materials you will need towards the end of this process.

Shut the passengers side door, and walk around the vehicle. Open the drivers side door, and look under t he dashboard, near the steering column. You are looking for a sixteen pin-receiving computer outlet. This diagnostic port is called a Data Link Connector, and the DLC is located in different spots. Where to look depends on your exact make and model year.

Connect your OBD-II scanner to the DLC outlet. Look at the scanners display read-out, and if it has not automatically turned itself on, find the power button and switch it on yourself. All brands of scanners function slightly different from each other. To find the exact operational procedures for your device, consult your devices handbook.

Place your key into your vehicles ignition and turn the electrical system on. Your scanner may also need the engine running as well. If your OBD-II scanner does not immediately retrieve the trouble codes recorded in the PCM, key i n a "Scan" command as per your scanners handbook.

Scroll through the codes on your scanners display. Pay attention only to codes that start with a "P" for powertrain. You are looking specifically for trouble codes that deal only with the PCM. Most of those trouble codes will be manufacturer specific, so you will have to consult the print outs or the Haynes Manual you left in the navigators seat. There are a few generic PCM codes, one of which is P0606, which means "PCM Processor Fault."

How to fix Samsung galaxy s8 battery draining too fast issue

The new Samsung galaxy S8 phone is an advanced feature rich phones that is released recently but even latest release by Samsung is also reported with poor battery life. The poor battery life or quick battery drain is not reported by all users and not from Day 1 after purchasing. But after a month of use the quick battery drain is observed by many users.
Battery started draining faster when the display is on.  The battery drain in Samsung galaxy s8 is reported too fast like 1% battery drain takes away like in 10 minutes.

It is good idea to check what is causing so much battery drain in your phone. Goto- settings, devicemaintenance and battery to see what apps are using notable amounts of juice. If it’s an app, try to uninstall the app as it may be keeping your phone busy while working in background.

Fix 1: Deactivate Google Location/History services.
For many Galaxy s8 users deactivating location and history setting showed a good improvement in battery life. To do that Goto->settings / location / Google Location Histoy.

iPhone 6 WIFI is not available how to fix

When your iPhone 6 WiFi dropping out or not available is very frustrating, dont worry, check out our more extensive WiFi Guide for additional tips. And if something worked for you thats not listed, let us know. We love sharing information and learning new approaches to help you.

The customer send an iPhone 6 without WIFI, the customer said: "two mobile phone repair shop tried to fix it but didnt succeed". There are lots of solder flux cover on WiFi, it seems that WiFi has been replaced several times, a nearby resistor is also lost , the bottom of WIFI is scraped to copper wire, we can certainly confirm its not the iPhone 6 WIFI module problem.

First remove the WIFI and boot device to measure the voltage of WIFI bottom board pin, we find that 14 pin has no signal voltage, it should be 1.8V. The problem comes from here. Using a digital multimeter to measure but no resistance, so we use WUXINJI bitmap t o check and find it is directly through CPU, is it the bottom board wire disconnection?

It can be seen from the bitmap 10-25-1 that the iPhone 6 bottom board wire is really disconnected.

Now we have to see if there is another way, continue to look at the principle diagram Apple 6. As shown in picture 10-25-2 and 10-25-3.

This reset signal has a capacitor and a pull-up resistor. The capacitance is next to WIFI. There is no resistance in the measurement. This is hopeless, then we look at the pull-up resistor again, find it is on the back of the iPhone 6 CPU from the bitmap, and its very close. Measuring resistance is 446, then directly solder jumper wire, install WIFI, but the icon is still gray. Then we think the WIFI may be broken. Immediately replace a new WIFI chip, Bluetooth is shown up, WIFI also appeared, the fault is fixed now! Picture 10-25-4

What cause iPhone 6SP No Touch Function

Customer to repair a 6SP no touch, the faulty iPhone 6sp motherboard problem is shown in picture 6-5-1.

Fault Detection :

First observed the iPhone 6SP main board appearance after getting it, we can see it has slight water influent, but no obvious corrosion, also there is no obvious deformation on the board.

Fault Repair:

1. According to our repair experience, the first step is to measure resistance value with multimeter, we find there is no resistance value displayed on J4200-22 pin, so the fault of we are going to solve today is found out now. As shown in picture 6-5-2.

2. After removing glue on the main board, it is found that FL4215 falls off, as shown in picture 6-5-3.

3. How to solve the fault? just directly short connect FL4251, the resistance value is tested normal.

4. Now continue to install the iPhone 6sp screen and have a test, touch function finally gets normal.

Now the fault is perfectly solved! is shown in picture 6-5-4.
